The rescheduled RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2021 will be held at the Royal Geographical Society in London, from Tuesday 31 August to Friday 3 September 2021. More information is available on the conference website.
This three-day conference attracts over 1,800 geographers and is a fantastic way to discover exciting research in all areas of the discipline and to meet, network, and socialise with researchers from all over the world.
The Chair’s theme for the conference is borders, borderlands and bordering, and has been selected by Professor Uma Kothari (University of Manchester, UK). More information about the conference and the Chair’s theme can be found via this link. The conference organisers welcome sessions and paper submissions which engage directly with the conference theme, as well as other proposals which focus on wider subject areas in geography. The RGS-IBG Postgraduate Forum has sponsored some vibrant, creative and interesting sessions at previous conferences, and look forward to doing so again for AC2021.
