About the role
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
- Assist with the organisation and running of the Postgraduate Forum Midterm conference,
- Oversee the organisation and running of the next Twitter Conference
- Organise the Postgraduate Forum sponsored sessions at the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference.
The role is a great opportunity to make contact with other geographers, network with research groups and help shape three conferences which are of great value to postgraduate geographers across the world.
While organising the conferences will be your main focus, as a PGF committee member you’ll have a chance to forward your ideas for further events that will offer our postgraduate community a chance to socialise, network and share their research.
You would hold this position for 6 months, with a possibility for re-election in May 2021 if you would like to continue working with the Postgraduate Forum.
